Therapy for Anxiety & Depression

HELPING YOU NAVIGATE DIFFICULT FEELINGS SO YOU CAN FEEL LIKE YOURSELF AGAIN

It’s common to feel anxious or sad now and then, or in response to particular life events. If you feel persistent fear, worry, apprehension, or sadness, though, it may be a sign that you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, or a combination of the two. Maybe you have a general sense of unease but can’t tell where it’s coming from, or you can’t stop worrying about specific things. You might find that you aren’t enjoying things that were once fun and exciting as much as you used to, or that you feel disconnected from the people you care about in your life.

Anxiety and depression can impact our ability to engage in our day-to-day tasks and hobbies and feel connected to our lives and communities. We may notice anxiety and depression affecting our thoughts (worry, pessimism, sadness) as well as creating physical symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia, changes in appetite, or aches and muscle tension.

I specialize in working with people who experience anxiety and depression. Together, we’ll look at how to manage anxiety and depression by developing self-compassion and understanding, as well as building skills to manage uncomfortable emotions and nurture your sense of hope, agency, and empowerment.

You deserve to feel like yourself again, and to be fully engaged in your life.
