Stress is a fact of life for most of us. Living through a pandemic hasn’t helped with that. Stress often comes from relationships, work, finances, the political climate—and from living in a late capitalist, white supremacist society that oppresses and marginalizes many of us while prioritizing individual productivity over rest and care.

We all experience stress, but if you find that you’re constantly worrying, have trouble sleeping at night, or often feel “on edge,” I can support you in finding some relief.

I specialize in working with people who experience chronic stress, overwhelm, and burn out. We’ll confront the internalized capitalism that gets in the way of us being able to implement the self-care and community care we yearn for. We’ll work together to explore techniques to lessen the emotional and physical impact stress has on you. We might use somatic (body-based) approaches such as mindfulness or breathing exercises or incorporate art as a relaxing sensory experience to help your nervous system regulate itself.
